Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Superficie bianca by Enrico Castellani was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 113,400.00 (€ 131,978.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Castellani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Superficie bianca von Enrico Castellani wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 113.400,00 (€ 131.978,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
