It achieved a price of EUR 107,100.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Castellani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).

Die Arbeit Superficie bianca von Enrico Castellani wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 107.100,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
