Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Superficie rossa by Enrico Castellani was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Milan in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 119,700.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Castellani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Superficie rossa von Enrico Castellani wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 119.700,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
