In December 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Interieur À La Fenêtre by Emilio Grau Sala. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,662.31), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interieur À La Fenêtre von Emilio Grau Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.662,31) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Después de la carrera im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
