Upper estimate price exceeded by 46 %.
In October 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Art 1900-1950, which included the work Le Paddock -1969 by Emilio Grau Sala. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,700.00 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Art 1900-1950 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Paddock -1969 von Emilio Grau Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.700,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Después de la carrera im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
