Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interieur à la fenêtre by Emilio Grau Sala was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,911.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.

Die Arbeit Interieur à la fenêtre von Emilio Grau Sala kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.911,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen.
