Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Chasse à "Cour" by Emilio Grau Sala for USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,940.73). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Chasse à "Cour" von Emilio Grau Sala für USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.940,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Después de la carrera im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
