Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Before The Race by Emilio Grau Sala. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,208.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Before The Race von Emilio Grau Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.208,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Después de la carrera im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
