Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Head by Emil Filla was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,218.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Filla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech seated Woman in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 729,000.00 (€ 827,523.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Head von Emil Filla im April 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.218,96) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Filla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech seated Woman im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 729.000,00 (€ 827.523,45).
