In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Czech still Life With Guitar by Emil Filla. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,704.24), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Emil Filla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Czech seated Woman in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 729,000.00 (€ 827,523.45).

Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Czech still Life With Guitar von Emil Filla zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 127.704,24) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Filla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Czech seated Woman im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 729.000,00 (€ 827.523,45).
