Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A potter by Else Berg. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Else Berg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circus met gitaar in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 38,240.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A potter von Else Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Else Berg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Circus met gitaar im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.240,00.
