Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Agave of the Bacchae Paste Up by Elliott Hundley for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,710.99). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elliott Hundley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landslide in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 123,288.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Agave of the Bacchae Paste Up von Elliott Hundley für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.710,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elliott Hundley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landslide im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 123.288,74).
