Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ella Kruglyanskaya was auctioned at Christies in London in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,190.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ella Kruglyanskaya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swordfish Picnic in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ella Kruglyanskaya im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.190,48) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ella Kruglyanskaya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swordfish Picnic im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 113.648,46).
