A top price for Eliza Draper Gardiner
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Boy and Goose by Eliza Draper Gardiner. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,201.74), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, Boy and Goose is even the most expensive work of art by Eliza Draper Gardiner that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boy and Goose von Eliza Draper Gardiner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.270,00 (€ 1.201,74) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Boy and Goose sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eliza Draper Gardiner, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
