In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Head of a terrier sold for GBP 940.00 (€ 1,350.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Loder of Bath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A chestnut hunter; and A brown hunter in a stable, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 3,407.50 (€ 5,270.63).
