In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Head of A Terrier by Edwin Loder of Bath. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,736.38), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Loder of Bath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A chestnut hunter; and A brown hunter in a stable, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 3,407.50 (€ 5,270.63).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head of A Terrier von Edwin Loder of Bath zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.736,38) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edwin Loder of Bath mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A chestnut hunter; and A brown hunter in a stable beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für GBP 3.407,50 (€ 5.270,63) versteigert wurde.
