Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Edmondo Bacci achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Avvenimento #269 sold for USD 28,000.00 (€ 17,985.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmondo Bacci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avvenimento N°242, Circa 1957, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 50,106.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edmondo Bacci erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Avvenimento #269 für USD 28.000,00 (€ 17.985,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Edmondo Bacci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avvenimento N°242, Circa 1957 beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 50.106,00 versteigert wurde.
