Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Edmondo Bacci could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Avvenimento No. 406 changed hands for USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,447.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmondo Bacci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Avvenimento N°242, Circa 1957 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 50,106.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edmondo Bacci konnte im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Avvenimento No. 406 für USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.447,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edmondo Bacci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Avvenimento N°242, Circa 1957 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.106,00.
