In December 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art, which included the work Nacht by Edgar Fernhout. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 74,650.00 49% above the upper estimate. Other works by Edgar Fernhout have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 122,500.00 in June 2017 for the work Zee (ochtend).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nacht von Edgar Fernhout zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 74.650,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Edgar Fernhout haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.500,00 im Juni 2017 für die Arbeit Zee (ochtend) beobachtet.
