Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landschap (Boerderij In Eempolder) by Edgar Fernhout was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2015. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Fernhout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zee (ochtend) in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 122,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landschap (Boerderij In Eempolder) von Edgar Fernhout kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgar Fernhout erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zee (ochtend) im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.500,00.
