It achieved a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,949.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Dustin Yellin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 124,598.27).

Die Arbeit Red Tree von Dustin Yellin wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.949,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dustin Yellin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 124.598,27).
