This artwork by Dustin Yellin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2015. In the First Open/ NYC auction, the work Experiment for a disappearing tree sold for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,072.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dustin Yellin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy), which sold at auction in January 2021 for USD 151,200.00 (€ 124,598.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dustin Yellin erzielte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open/ NYC wurde die Arbeit Experiment for a disappearing tree für USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.072,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dustin Yellin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) beobachtet, die im Januar 2021 für USD 151.200,00 (€ 124.598,27) versteigert wurde.
