Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Abstract Painting with Policeman by Donald Baechler. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,571.43). Admittedly, works by Donald Baechler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Conversazione in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 171,382.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract Painting with Policeman von Donald Baechler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.571,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald Baechler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Conversazione im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 171.382,56).
