This work without title by Domoto Hisao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,457.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Domoto Hisao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting 1960-14 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 219,049.99).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Domoto Hisao kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.457,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domoto Hisao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting 1960-14 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 219.049,99).
