Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work Appearance of Crosses 95-B75 by Ding Yi. The price achieved of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 23,453.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,517,338.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Appearance of Crosses 95-B75 von Ding Yi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 23.453,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.460.000,00 (€ 1.517.338,91).
