Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Appearance of Crosses 96-B2 by Ding Yi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 22,460.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,517,338.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Appearance of Crosses 96-B2 von Ding Yi kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 22.460,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.460.000,00 (€ 1.517.338,91).
