Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw”, which included this untitled work by Diana Al-Hadid. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,594.88). Admittedly, works by Diana Al-Hadid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,107.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw” durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Diana Al-Hadid zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.594,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Diana Al-Hadid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.107,36).
