The work Bay of Pigs by Dexter Dalwood was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in March 2018. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,391.64), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dexter Dalwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brian Jones' Swimming Pool, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 144,000.00 (€ 213,474.83).

Die Arbeit Bay of Pigs von Dexter Dalwood wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.391,64) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Dexter Dalwood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brian Jones' Swimming Pool beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 144.000,00 (€ 213.474,83) versteigert wurde.
