In September 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Seeing Out Of The BoxConceptual Photographs Online, which included the work Edward Ruscha by Dennis Hopper. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,325.00 (€ 4,544.29), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Hopper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 158,724.06).

Im September 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Seeing Out Of The BoxConceptual Photographs Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Edward Ruscha von Dennis Hopper zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.325,00 (€ 4.544,29) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dennis Hopper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 158.724,06).
