Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five Girls in a Room in Pigalle, Paris, VOGUE Italia by Deborah Turbeville was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,410.00 (€ 4,185.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Deborah Turbeville have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' was auctioned for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,902.30).
