Walter auction, the work Untitled from Unseen Versailles, 1981 sold for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,079.15) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Deborah Turbeville; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,902.30).
