Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work Untitled from "Unseen Versailles", 1980-1981 by Deborah Turbeville. The price achieved of SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,243.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Deborah Turbeville have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,902.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled from "Unseen Versailles", 1980-1981 von Deborah Turbeville zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.243,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deborah Turbeville auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.902,30).
