Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Fashion Study, c. 1975 by Deborah Turbeville was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,113.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Deborah Turbeville have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,902.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled Fashion Study, c. 1975 von Deborah Turbeville kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.113,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deborah Turbeville auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Versailles: Seventeen Images' im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.902,30).
