Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vote Hillary by Deborah Kass was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,558.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deborah Kass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Deb in May last year with an auction result of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vote Hillary von Deborah Kass kam im Juni 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.558,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deborah Kass erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Deb im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62).
