Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Dean Levin for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,087.08). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dean Levin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Lines (Diptych) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dean Levin für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.087,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dean Levin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
