The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,440.20) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dean Levin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Lines (Diptych) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).

Die Arbeit A Conversation Piece (Black & White) von Dean Levin kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.440,20) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dean Levin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
