Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Conversation Piece (White & Indigo) by Dean Levin was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,816.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Dean Levin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Lines (Diptych) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Conversation Piece (White & Indigo) von Dean Levin kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.816,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dean Levin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
