Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dean Levin could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled, 2016 changed hands for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,894.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dean Levin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Lines (Diptych) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dean Levin konnte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, 2016 für USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.894,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dean Levin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
