Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dean Levin could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,188.00 (€ 1,058.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dean Levin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work White Lines (Diptych) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dean Levin konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.188,00 (€ 1.058,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dean Levin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47).
