Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Conversation Piece (Grey & White) by Dean Levin was sold in the First Open/ NYC auction at Christies in New York in July 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,735.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Dean Levin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2015 the work White Lines (Diptych) was auctioned for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,853.47).

Die Arbeit A Conversation Piece (Grey & White) von Dean Levin wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion First Open/ NYC bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.735,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Dean Levin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2015 die Arbeit White Lines (Diptych) für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 25.853,47) versteigert.
