Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work The Bees And The Ants (Blue Version) by Dean Byington. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,190.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Dean Byington have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work Greenhouses was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,852.87).

Im September 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bees And The Ants (Blue Version) von Dean Byington zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.190,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
