Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work The Real Summer CA by David Ratcliff. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,530.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by David Ratcliff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2007 the work Abstract Painting (Floor) was auctioned for USD 22,800.00 (€ 17,233.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Real Summer CA von David Ratcliff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.530,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von David Ratcliff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2007 die Arbeit Abstract Painting (Floor) für USD 22.800,00 (€ 17.233,56) versteigert.
