Upper estimate price exceeded by 34 %.

In July last year Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work F (The Receptionist) by David Ostrowski. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 19,760.83), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Ostrowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work F (Gee Vaucher) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 215,054.11).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit F (The Receptionist) von David Ostrowski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 19.760,83) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Ostrowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit F (Gee Vaucher) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 215.054,11).
