This artwork by David Diao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March this year. In the The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online auction, the work Untitled #22 "The Little Suprematist Prisons" sold for USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,850.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Diao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twin Dragons in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 143,062.16).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Diao erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online wurde die Arbeit Untitled #22 "The Little Suprematist Prisons" für USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.850,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Diao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twin Dragons im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 143.062,16).
