In April 2008 Sothebys in Sydney held the auction Important Paintings, which included the work Australian The King by David Boyd. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 50,400.00 (€ 30,493.17), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by David Boyd have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 51,045.00 (€ 47,567.79) in May last year for the work Monoliths, 1962.

Andere Arbeiten von David Boyd haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 51.045,00 (€ 47.567,79) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Monoliths, 1962 beobachtet.
