Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Blond) by David Altmejd was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,956.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Altmejd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The New North in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 269,007.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Blond) von David Altmejd kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.956,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Altmejd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The New North im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 217.250,00 (€ 269.007,22).
