In November 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Gustav's Wing by Danh Vō. The »bidding war« ended at USD 138,600.00 (€ 122,796.14), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Danh Vō have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work VJ Star in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 842,747.01).

Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gustav's Wing von Danh Vō zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 122.796,14) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danh Vō auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit VJ Star im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 842.747,01).
