A top price for Danh Vō - as previously expected
The work VJ Star by Danh Vō was sold in the Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 842,747.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, VJ Star is the most expensive artwork by Danh Vō that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit VJ Star von Danh Vō wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 842.747,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist VJ Star das teuerste Kunstwerk von Danh Vō, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
