Auction result well in line with expectations
The work We the People (Detail) by Danh Vō was sold in the Contemporary Passions auction at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 107,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Danh Vō have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work VJ Star in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 842,747.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit We the People (Detail) von Danh Vō wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Passions bei Sothebys in Köln versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 107.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danh Vō auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit VJ Star im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 842.747,01).
