In May 2011 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Paint Paint Paint by Dana Frankfort. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,260.29), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Dana Frankfort have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,595.93) in May 2007 for the work Despair.

Im Mai 2011 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paint Paint Paint von Dana Frankfort zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.260,29) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Dana Frankfort haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 11.595,93) im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Despair beobachtet.
